Strap On Dildo FAQ's
What is a strap-on Dildo?
A strap on dildo is a dildo specially designed to be worn in a harness allowing one partner to penetrate the other, vaginally or anally, hands-free!
By 'specially designed' we mean:
WIDE BASE This ensures the dildo sits securely & comfortably in the harness (dildos with balls are unruly & dildos with too-small bases can slip out of the harness, which is why we don't stock them)
ANGLED FOR STRAP-ON PLAY
When using a dildo in a harness having a slight upward curve within the dildo design means it's at the right angle for pleasure. The G-Spot and prostate are both positioned interally towards the front of the body, and these are the areas you want your strap-on dildo to please... ( if you're coming in from behind, whether vaginally or anally, turn your dildo so the angle is pointing downwards in the harness to hit the right spots)
SILICONE
Unlike using fingers or penis for penetrative pleasure, using a dildo in a strap-on means you can't actually feel what's going on. So the consistency of the dildo is important - too soft and it won't easily enter the target... Too hard and it may feel uncomfortable or unyielding for the receiver. Silicone is the goldilocks for strap-on dildos - just right! Not only that. Silicone is non-porous, 100% body-safe, easy to clean/sterlize, so you play with & share your dildos without any worries.
How do you choose the right strap-on dildo?
We offer over 30 different sizes & styles of dildos to strap-on; from under 4 inches and a finger-width upwards to over 9 inches, and 4 or more fingers width.
Who can use a strap-on dildo?
Is using a strap-on dildo safe?
Start small and go slowly, especially when learning and keep checking-in/communicating with your partner throughout.
Use condoms if switching partners or body areas.
Make sure your dildo is squeaky clean before strapping it on. Silicone is the best material for dildos because it is completely non-porous (meaning it won't absorb any body fluids) but you still need to ensure there's nothing lurking on the surface.
