Sh! was founded in 1992 by Ky Hoyle, after an intimidating trip to London's Soho to buy a sex toy revealed the desperate need for change.

3 months later, on £700, she opened the first women's sex shop in the UK, kick-starting a revolution in the sex toy industry, by forcing it to become more female-friendly.

Sh! is women-owned and run, inclusive of all sexualities; a place where you can explore your own unique relationship to sex and pleasure, free from hype or pressure.
