How to Choose Your Strap On Dildo?

So many choices!

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed, but choosing the right dildo, should be all about sexy anticipation, so we're here to make it easy/ier...

1. What do I actually want from my strap-on dildo?

Sure, the goal might seem obvious (hello, pleasure!), but take a moment to think it through:

Is the dildo for yourself, for your partner, or for both of you to enjoy?

Are you both on the same page when it comes to size - length and girth?

Are you specifically after a G-spot or Prostate-pleasing dildo?

Do you want the extra buzz of vibration, or would you rather keep it simple?

2. What size dildo for vaginal strap-on play ?

Width is the most important measurement to get right, as you can always control how deep a dildo goes, but a too-wide dildo can be painful rather than pleasureable.

When a woman/vulva-owner becomes really aroused, their vagina naturally expands. The number of fingers that feel comfortably pleasurable at this super turned-on stage is a good guide for choosing the right dildo girth.

This is why we have classed our dildos in terms of fingers!

SLIM (1-2 Fingers)

Some find that a dildo that’s completely straight can feel uncomfortable if it bumps against their cervix. If that sounds familiar, a toy with a rounded tip or gentle G-spot-friendly curve will usually provide a more comfortable, satisfying experience.

3. What size dildo for anal strap-on play?

Width is even more cruicial, when choosing a strap-on dildo for anal strap-on play / pegging.

This is especially true for newbies, as a too-wide dildo will be painful.

5. What kind of harness to strap with?

The type of harness you are planning to slip your dildo into can affect dildo choice:

FOR STRAP-ONS WORN ON THE HIPS:

Curvier tums and bums can reduce the usable length, so choosing a slightly longer dildo can help ensure more satisfying strokes.

With these harnesses: 2-strap / Super & Corset you may also lose an inch or so of length, as the dildo base sits between you and the harness panel.

Fabric harnesses are not secure enough to hold a heavy dildo. They best support medium & small dildos less than 6 inches long and 1.5-inch in diameter.

FOR STRAP-ONS WORN ON THE HIPS: - you can use the full length of your dildo. Fixed O-ring means its best for dildos 1.5 inch & less diameter.

What is a strap on dildo?

A strap on dildo is a dildo specially designed to be worn in a harness allowing one partner to penetrate the other, vaginally or anally, hands-free!

By 'specially designed' we mean:

WIDE BASE
