How to put on a Sh! adjustable harness

Loosen all 4 straps, leaving about 3-5cm on the ends.

If you can wiggle the harness over your hips - step in like a pair of pants (with the 2 back straps going between your legs) If you can't wiggle in, undo one of the front straps.

Pull up the harness & adjust back straps so the back strap/panel sits on your lower back.

Adjust the front straps evenly, so the front panel sits over your pubic area and the front straps meet the D-rings of the back strap at your hips.

For a super-secure fit, bend forward at the hips and pull the front straps evenly downwards.

What is a strap on?

A strap-on is couples sex toy that allows one partner to penerate the other using a dildo that's held in place with a harness. This leaves hands free to explore and pleasure elsewhere...

Usually the strap-on is worn on the hips to replicate tradtional pentration, but you can also buy a harness to strap a dildo to your leg.

Who uses a strap-on?

Any couple, whatever their gender or sexual orientation can use a strap!

Lesbians/WLW

Many people think strap-ons are for lesbians only and certainly they are a very popular lesbian sex toy. We'd say around 70% of our straps are bought by WLW couples.

Pegging

Men/ Penis-owners

A men can strap a dildo above his penis to provide double penetration to his female partner or to provide penetration when he doesn't have an an erection himself, (whether due to erectile dysfunction or not) ... or he can strap on simply to penetrate his male or female partner with a different-size wand to the one nature gave him.

How do I choose my strap?

It's best to choose your dildo first, then choose your harness.

If your dildo is wider than 1.5 inches diameter, you will need a leather (or vegan pleather) harness with an interchangeable o-ring.

Most of our leather harnesses will accomodate ALL widths of dildo - we supply 3 interchangeable O-rings to hold the dildo securely.

Fabric, boxer-style harnesses, such as Rodeo, as well as Sh! Thong harness & Thigh harness all have fixed o-rings that will not take a wide dildo.

When choosing your dildo, pick a slightly longer dildo than you would if you were using it by hand, as at least an inch of the dildo (more if curvier bodies are involved) will be lost, once it's strapped into a harness. The dildo needs to have a flared/wide base to keep it securely in the harness (which all dildos we carry do:).

Which is the best strap-on?

THE million dollar (dildo?) question - the best strap-on is the one that works best for you and your partner!

When it comes to strap-ons, we believe one size does NOT fit all. By choosing an individual dildo and harness, you will always have the best strap-on for you in both size and fit.

Why don't you sell all-in-one/fused strap-ons?

All-in-one strapons, where the dildo is permanently fixed to a harness are impossible to clean properly. Just too many nooks and crannies around the base of the dildo for juices to gather & harbour nasties.

By using a separate harness and dildo, you can not only clean the dildo thoroughly, but you can also use different-sized dildos to satisfy different desires, orifices or partners...

What is a strapless dildo?

A 'strapless' is essentially a double dildo designed to replicate strap-on-style sex but without the use of a harness.

Instead the 'operator' grips the smaller, egg-shaped portion inside their vagina. The longer shaft extends in front to penetrate their partner vaginally or anally.

As the strapless operator, you do need to have strong PC muscles to be able to hold the it inside, and to play in positions that work with gravity, rather than against it (ie. the reciever on top)

Strapless are best for close, intimate penetration or grinding together. They're impossible for wild thrusting - unless you slip them into a harness for added security.

Can I share my harness with a partner?

It depends on what kind of harness you choose.

To share thrusting duties, you will need an adjustable harness, such as 2-Strap Harness, Super Harness or Corset Harness.

It needs to fit the person with curvier hips. The slimmer partner tightens the straps when they want to be stapon-operator.

With underwear style, partners need to be same clothing size if they are going to share.

How to clean & care for my strap-on?

Spritz your dildo with sex toy cleaner, or wash it thoroughly with antibacterial soap.

Leather Harness: Wipe clean with a cloth dampened with soap, followed with dry cloth.

Fabric Harness: Hand wash or machine on cold.

Leave both harness & dildo to air dry before storing in clean, fluff-free place (not airtight).
