Can I use sex toys whilst pregnant or on my period?
You can definately use sex toys during your period - in fact we recommend it! Having sex on your period could make it easier to have orgasms as you're extra horny AND orgasms can help relieve cramps and back pain, so it’s a win-win situation.
During pregnacy, it's normal for your sex drive to go either way - you may feel extra horny (due to increased estrogen and progesterone, heightened blood flow to and increased sensitivity of the genitals. Why don't you sell any 'realistic' sex toys?
We've always had the policy to not carry 'realistic' or 'replica' sex toys (which, when we started in 1992, meant we had very little toys to choose from, such was the dearth of 'Big John' dildos & porn-pussies-in-cans!)
Apart from any ick-factor, (we can't tell you how many times women have told us they were bought a 'realistic sex toy, which went straight in the bin!) these kinds of sex toys can stir-up feelings of insecurity, which we're not into feeding...
