Something goes wrong with the connection after a while, and it just stops working. Not water damage, not rough usage, just a faulty connection with the wire. I've owned a few of these and it's always the same problem, but it's still the best clitoral vibrator out there.

I have been purchasing nothing but eggs for the last 10 years, and you're right readers, they just don't last. At nearly $40 CAD each, it can be an expensive hobby for sure! As someone who is on medication that makes it hard to orgasm by hand or weaker vibes, the vectra egg never fails me! I think i have gone through about 6 of them now as use them so much and ocassionally the wire connection fails, but I never mind spending the money, totally worth it every time, wouldnt be without one now. It has great power and intensity, and really works great. I can use this alone or with my other half during intercourse as it isnt too large. It is my favourite vibe of all time.....BUTAs I said I have bought 4! They dont last long...maybe Im too hard on them But the wire has to be held in a certain position afer a while to use...then gives up the ghost completely, and a new one is needed. They only last a few months sadly.....but its still great!!

The Vector Egg is amaaazing!! I know the others are saying they don't think it lasts very long - but I'd say the egg last longer than some boyfriends!I know someone who buys a new one every 6 months - she wears them out that much! (And no, it isn't me..) I've had mine for over a year and it's still going strong. Buy cheap batteries for it - duracell is too strong and will burn the motor out. Admittedly you'll get one hell of a buzz, but the egg gets knackered.If you've never had a vibrator and you're not sure what you'd like, I'd recommend one of these. It's easy to use, it does the job beautifully and as it has 7 different settings you'll never get bored. Plus the shape is really cool. :)

I've had this a few months now and absolutely love it. The variable speeds/vibe types are very nice and provide a lot of variety. As long as the batteries are fairly fresh watch out! Some lesser clit vibes I have not found to have enough intensity for me. Not a problem with this vibe!

I found that this fell apart quite quickly (after a few months' use), and didn't provide strong enough vibrations. It wasn't hideous, but I'd expect more for my money.

Just bought my 3rd Ultra Vector Egg and cant wait for it to arrive. Always a clit pleaser and last quite well, my 1st one lasted over 2 years and my 2nd one is just dying early for some reason but still lasted a year. Hope this one lasts for years like the original...and cant wait to introduce it to my girl! Thanks sh!

As the first toy i'd ever used, it was fabulous, but within a couple of months i had to try to find a way to hold the wire in whatever particular place it decided it needed to be held in in order to make it work. It's decided that it doesn't want to play anymore and i've only had it for 8 months. Disappointed that it lasted such a short time but i am considering getting another because it was fantastic when it did work.
