After trying a massage candle we decided to buy some more because we enjoyed it so much! With Monogamy candles getting good reviews and also being cheap, we took the plunge. They're quite small but that's to be expected for the price you pay. They're roughly the same size as a normal tealight. When you open the candle you can instantly smell the sweet strawberry aroma. It's pleasant and not overpowering at all. It made the room smell lovely as it burned. After about 20 minutes there seemed to be a decent amount of the candle melted so I blew out the flame and proceeded to drizzle the warm oil onto my OH's back. There really wasn't much at all considering it'd been burning for that amount of time. It wasn't too warm and had a nice feel on the skin, but the one thing I noticed was that it didn't seem to spread very well and sort of soaked into the skin rather than spread across it. It gave a nice massage but it'd be better if there was more oil to use, maybe it just burns slower than other candles do, I'm not sure, we'll have to try the others out too. I'd recommend the Monogamy massage candles as they are very romantic and do feel great. Just be quick applying them!

The smell and texture was fabulous. The wax was the right temp to be drizzled onto the body. We bought the small one (Chocolate & Vanilla) but so buying the big one now. Don't bother buying the small one it runs out quickly just buy the large one as you will love it.

We've used a Monogamy candle before so decided to try out this one and see what it was like. They're cheap and a good size, about the same size as a normal tealight candle.As soon as I opened this candle I could spell the spicy aroma. I soon realised it wasn't my favourite smell in the world. It's quite strong and definitely different, might appeal to older couples.Despite it not smelling great, we weren't going to waste an opportunity for a warm massage, so let it burn for the usual 15/20 minutes. Just like the other Monogamy candle we tried, it melted very slowly and there wasn't much oil to use at all.The oil itself was nice, not too warm, and feels soft on your skin. However it soaks in quickly and doesn't spread very well. It's a nice warm massage, maybe using the whole candle would make it better.Overall, I'd recommend this candle to an older couple, or somebody who likes the oriental smells, as it does fill the room when it's burning! You can't go wrong with a Monogamy candle though, if you like the smell.

My gf and I have used a massage candle before and we really liked it. Since the other one ran out we thought we would buy some more, but this time a different one. I quite liked the idea of getting a small candle first to try and see whether we like it or not. The candle itself ( Amber & Oriental Spice) smells quite nice, but I'm not quite sure about the consistency once on the skin. It doesn't really last, so you can't really give your partner a proper massage and once the massage liquid (or what) cooled down it left a weird, waxy residue on the skin. I know it's a massage CANDLE, but with the previous one (allume moi massage candle Aphrodisiac) we didn't have this 'problem'.
