The Doxy is a must have for anyone that loves those deep, strong, penetrating vibrations.I initially thought it looked a little intimidating but quickly realised its size was definitely necessary to harness that type of power. The head of the toy is quite large which is great for an all round external coverage of your lady bits and the strength of the vibrations really travel internally as well. Not only is it a great solo toy, I've found that it actually isn't too cumbersome to use with a partner as well. The only downfall I can come up with is the positioning of the buttons. There have been too many a time I've gone to reach for the + button and accidentally switched it off, which can be very frustrating mid play!Nevertheless, the Doxy is at the top of my toy drawer and gets a lot of use.

I wanted to love this thing but am a bit underwhelmed to be honest. I compare it to the Hitachi, the Body Wand and Lelo Large Smart Wands I have owned and worn out over the years and see several missed opportunities in the Doxi. It lacks the luxury boudoiresque look and feel of the Lelo, the rock solid quality feel of the Hitachi and the cheap and cheerful price of the Body Wand. Yes it gets me off and that is what I got it for but in 2015 with so many previous wands to learn from is this the best they could do?

It has eight or ten speed settings. On previous vibrators, I have been a full power user. With this, I have used the first three lowest settings and gosh, yes. It works. Definitely works. I am a bit worried that if I go to the max power level I will lose the use of my legs. Yes, it is that good.The motor is a bit loud and gets louder the faster it goes, but is nothing that can't be dealt with by some background music and a locked door. Still, at the lower speeds it is not too noisy in the grand scheme of things.The feel of the body of the vibrator is reassuringly chunky and solid. The buttons (power up, power down, on/off) are easy to tell apart in the dark and do not feel flimsy or cheap.The Doxy is expensive at £90, but I do think with this you are paying for quality and hopefully, a long life.
