HIGHLIGHTS:

Alison Tyler continues the best-selling erotic alphabet series with this collection of stories about all things leather.

Lisette Ashton exults in the sultry, distinctive aroma of leather with a perfect description of the erotic aspect of sliding into a new leather jacket in Truman Capote Was Wrong.

In Sunday Service, author Kate Pearce takes a love of leather even further in this homage to a black belt.

The stories in Alphabet Series: L is for Leather will fill your senses with all there is to enjoy in leather.

Edited by Alison Tyler, the Erotic Alphabet series is a highly collectable anthology of the best erotic fiction today.

The stories in this brief volume are much like leather itself: stylish, sensuous, a little flamboyant. (Witness Sheri Gilmore's "Cleanup on Aisle Ten," which is entertainingly over-the-top.) Even non-devotees of leather may be impressed by the variety of ways the material appears in the stories (saddles, leashes, coats, shoes). Most of the actual leather fetishism appears later in the volume; my favorite of those scenarios is Jude Mason's femdom epic "Those Boots." I would have enjoyed some author bios, as well as a few more m/m stories (even Shane Allison, editor of countless gay anthologies, contributes an m/f piece, although it's surprisingly plausible). There is a fair amount of f/f here, though, if that's your preference.
