For now, the UK does not recycle silicone, and your dildo has to go in the bin. Glass - Sustainable & Recyclable

Glass is a sustainable, fully recyclable sex toy material.

Glass is made from an abundant natural resource, and sex toys made from this material are phthalate-free and non-porous. This means they are hygienic to use and easy to care for. Unless dropped onto a hard surface, a glass dildo should last a lifetime.

Borosilicate glass is made from naturally occurring materials like silica and boron, which require less energy to extract and refine than the petroleum-based chemicals used to make plastic. Borosilicate glass can be crushed and melted and made into new glass products, a recycling process with low environmental impact.
