Hi, I have been using a basic vibrator, and have climaxed after vaginal penetration, I find it mildly painful to remove the vibrator. I don't know if I'm penetrating too deeply, or if I'm gripping it too tightly, but I can't withdraw the vibrator quickly or painlessly. Is it me? Is it a case of: penises shrink after climax, vibrators don't? Thanks!
Hi there,
Many thanks for your email!
It's possible that your vaginal muscles are very tight during and after your orgasm (an orgasm is a series of involuntary muscle squeezes).
We always recommend that women (and men) work on tightening their pc muscle but in your case, it could be about learning how to relax instead.
Try letting your vagina relax its grip by itself. Bask in the afterglow, and enjoy post-orgasmic bliss with the vibrator nestling in its place. You may find that the muscle will naturally push the vibe out once it's relaxed enough.
We have another tip if the above doesn't work for you:
Take a deep breath, and push out with your pc muscle. This *should* help release the grip so you can remove the vibe without feeling pain.
Make sure to use lube every time you use our vibrator. The extra moisture enhances your experience during play but also helps with smooth removal afterwards.
We hope this helps!
Love,
Team Sh! xx
PS. We're wondering about this 'basic' vibrator. Some vibes described as such are hard plastic with a seam or ridge around them. Check the surface to ensure it's super smooth for pleasurable penetration and perhaps think about up-grading to a more user-friendly material such as silicone.
