Join our esteemed panel of industry experts for a discussion on sexual health, mental health, and female empowerment on Thursday 4th of March at 10.30am.
As part of the launch of Shush Life, our brand new online learning experience, we have two exciting events lined up: Mind the Pleasure Gap and Let's Talk About Shush, Baby.
Mind the Pleasure Gap is a discussion about the pleasure industry, its size, the ethics, female empowerment, and the impact on women's health.
Is this industry in the right hands?
How do we need to bring about change?
Does this exponential growth in the industry allow us (all of us), any gender/non-binary/trans individuals to explore more - and if so - what does safety look like?
Mental wellbeing and sexual wellbeing - whose responsibility is it and how do we educate safely and ethically?

More About The Panel
- Ky Hoyle - Founder and CEO of Sh! & Shush Life
A ‘true pioneer’ (The Observer Magazine) in orgasm equality, Ky opened the UK’s first ‘women’s erotic emporium’ in 1992, after a nightmarish failed attempt to buy a vibe in London’s Soho. Established on £700, multi-award-winning Sh! led a seachange in attitudes towards sexuality and pleasure.
Highs along the way include winning a court case brought against her for running an ‘adult shop’ without a license, co-founding Café V support group for survivors of sexual violence, pioneering links with NHS and Cancer charities, and smuggling a toy into 10 Downing St as a gift for the PM’s wife!
As passionate today as the day she stomped home from Soho, Ky’s vision for ShushLife is to be THE trusted online educational space that empowers and guides women (and those that love them) through the journey of their own sexual pleasure.
- Simon Blake - CEO MHFA England
Prior to his current role, Simon was the chief executive of the National Union of Students, and Brook, the young people’s sexual health charity.
He also previously worked at the National Children’s Bureau, where he held a number of positions including Assistant Director of Children’s Development and Director of the Sex Education Forum.
