Like with all sex play, imagination is the only limit for pleasure. If you can imagine it, you can probably do it!
For this game, have a whole bunch of tools at your disposal: Cuffs, rope, satin ties, spreader bar, trigger hooks...
Read on for inspiration on five different ways to tie up a willing captive for erotic bondage play.
1. Bed Bondage
This is probably the most common way to start a bondage session when you’re new to it.
Make sure the room is nice and warm. The bed should comfortable with pillows and throws. Place your captive on the bed, face up. Restrain wrists or ankles (or both!) to the bedposts or bed legs. From here, you have their whole front to play with. Lucky you!
2. Chair Bondage
For this position, choose how comfortable you want your playmate to be. A kitchen chair will do if you’re not particularly concerned, or you could place them in a soft, plush armchair if you’re feeling generous.
If you use a kitchen chair, position your captive kneeling on the seat, facing over the backrest. Tie or cuff your sub to the back of the chair or to the legs. This is an excellent position for spanking, as theory ass will be on full display.
If your submissive is sitting in an armchair, you could cuff their hands together, or why not tie wrists and ankles to the legs of the chair? If you like to tempt and tease, this is a great way to get them all hot and bothered by slowly dancing and moving around them. They can look, but they can’t touch…
3. Table Bondage
Table bondage isn't comfortable, as the table will be a hard surface to lie on. Tie your submissive over the table, face up and legs tied as par apart as possible. You have full access to their juicy bits, so make the most of it by lightly whipping pussy or dick. Maybe tease them by bringing them ever so close to orgasm... but then backing off. Delicious!
4. Standing/Bending Bondage
This is a good position, as it lets you think up all sorts of evil and erotic acts to tease them with. Restrain their wrists in cuffs behind their back, either standing or bent over at the waist. If they’re bent over, you could allow them to rest their cheek against a table or back of a sofa.
5. Endurance Bondage
As the name suggests, this is a difficult position – for them. Cuff their wrists above their head and fix to something that’s strong enough to take their weight. A door frame fixing is a good idea. Stroke spank, suck, or whatever takes your fancy – they're all yours to play with!
Bondage Position Safety
- Before play starts, make sure you are aware of any aches or pains in their body. Work around these to avoid causing pain.
- Establish a safeword before you start. If your captive uses the agreed safeword, you must release them immediately.
- Have a first aid kit, including medical scissors, close by. You can never be too careful.
- Don’t use cuffs on your playmate for more than an hour at the most. The body gets cold and stiff, and blood flow can be somewhat restricted.
- Check in with your captive regularly. Ask if they are ok or if they need to switch positions.
- If your playmate is experiencing pins & needles, you need to release and gently rub/stroke the area to get the blood flowing again.
- Never restrain your captive in a position that could make breathing difficult – face down on pillows, for instance.
- Whilst your subject is restrained, you can torment and tease using hands, mouth or toys, depending on what you’ve agreed on beforehand.
- Never leave the room while your captive is tied up. Not even for a toilet break.
