This is a workshop designed for couples, of all genders and orientations, in which one or both partners are experiencing the physical and emotional side effects of cancer and treatment on their sex lives. It aims to offer support, encouragement, and inspiration to individuals working together to find new ways to share the old love with different bodies.
During the three-hour session you will get a chance to explore the changes cancer has made to your body, your self-image, and your relationship, and communicate with your partner about the new needs and desires, as well as the fears, that have arisen as a result. We'll be breaking down some of the myths around sexuality and orgasm that hold so many of us back, and brainstorming new avenues to pleasure, as well as trying out some that you may not have encountered before! And you'll get plenty of opportunities to work together as a couple, deepening into intimacy and expanding your communication, and trying out new techniques to incorporate into your lovemaking.
