Which size should I start with?
Always begin with the smallest dilator, regardless of your previous experience with penetration. The goal is comfort and confidence, not speed. Once you can comfortably insert and use one size without anxiety or discomfort, you can gradually move up to the next size.
How quickly should I move through the sizes?
Dilation is a gradual process and there are no shortcuts. It's important not to rush or skip sizes. Take your time, listen to your body, and only move to the next size when you feel fully comfortable with your current one. Progress looks different for everyone.
Does the vibration have to be used?
No. The vibrating bullet is completely optional and can be used whenever you feel it would be helpful. Most people find vibration relaxing, and even pleasurable, but you can choose not to use the bullet in the dilators (perhaps on your clit?) if that feels right for you.
Will using dilators hurt?
Dilator use should never be forced. You may experience sensations of stretching or pressure, but you should not push through significant pain.
